I'm responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a large crude oil gathering system pipeline running from Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas into Cushing, Oklahoma. Responsibilities include constant monitoring of SCADA over/short data, pressures, flow rates, and tank levels. I'm also responsible for the operation of pumping stations to meet monthly nominations throughout the system as well as to react to any abnormal operating condition or natural disaster, should they occur.

Odessa/Midland, Texas Area

Facilitated the movement of crude oil from field gatherings, all the way to the tank terminal. Duties included the negotiation with producer companies over injection of oil into the Plains system, maintenance and cleanliness of all pumps,tanks, and exposed pipeline, as well as keeping daily records of data accumulated in the field and through SCADA.

Filmed and edited all practice and game film for the Texas Tech Football program, which included coaches and players. Duties included set up and take down of cameras for each practice and game, as well as editing the video for use by the players and coaches. Traveled with the team across the conference as well to bowl games.
