Kyle has designed and managed a career total of 7.4 million square feet of built projects with a total asset value of over $1 billion in 9 countries and 37 cities while being recognized with more than 47 international awards and honors, including AEC 40 under 40. Kyle works across mediums and sectors, including real estate development, EV, clean energy, forestry, healthcare, hospitality, food and beverage, retail, and agriculture. Kyle’s approach to the built environment reinforces a throughline of decarbonization, climate resilience, technology, and human-centered solutions. Prior to Algoma, Kyle founded August Green, a design consulting firm, and Kaleidoskope, a digital services firm, where he led interdisciplinary teams across four continents working on physical building infrastructure and digital products. As Co-founder and CPO at Algoma, Kyle leads the strategy, design, and development of Algoma’s digital automation platform and repeatable zero-carbon building product for CRE markets. Kyle received his MDes from Harvard University, where he co-authored Harvard Business School’s first Mass Timber business case while additionally writing and directing the Mass Timber documentary, Building of Gardens, in 2023.

Kaleidoskope is a widely published and award-winning virtual environments studio composed of multidisciplinary practitioners with expertise in VR/AR, Animation, Gamification, Visualization, Climate Analysis, and Building Information Modeling. Kaleidoscope has been internationally recognized and awarded by Architizer and the World Architecture Festival for visualization, animation, and climate analysis. Our team has developed a core foundational workflow that optimizes the management and collaboration between all trades. We dedicate our time and efforts to perfect the art of architectural design, climate analysis, and detailed modeling to push project development toward efficiency and accuracy.
