• Developed schematics for complex Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs) for the Air Force with input and direction from senior engineers.• Reverse engineered legacy electronic boards that had no reference designators or accompanying documentation. Developed modernized ‘Form, Fit, Function’ replacements.• Developed schematics to implement a shared common memory network (SCRAMNet) between multiple cards. Implemented a host PCI site to interface with multiple PMC cards.• Created PCB layouts for several test boards that were vital to the verification of the designed hardware of the project as well as enabling hardware testing of simulated firmware.• Wrote, simulated, and debugged VHDL firmware sub-modules for an existing design to add additional functionality.• Provided documentation of the design, design requirements, and any information that was requested by the customer.• Performed formal testing of various components of a radar jamming system to ensure that the products met all specifications set forth by the customer.• Assisted in troubleshooting products when failures were found and ensured that all problems were corrected in a timely manner.• Provided input on status of assigned tasks and contributed new ideas to the design team.
