I obtained my first job when I was 15 years old working at a Chinese food restaurant as a dishwasher. I also obtained a part-time job at Panago Pizza a year later, taking pizza orders working from home when I was 16. I am still employed at both places. I was able to save up enough money to buy my first vehicle in cash. Since I started working for Panago, I have earned over $1,000 in cash and gift card prizes for regularly placing as a top performer. Most notably, in December I received a $500 cash prize for getting the top spot. I have also done some short summer construction jobs over the years. These jobs have helped me develop transferable skills that I can use in the future. The list of skills is, problem-solving, de-escalating customers who are upset, hand-eye coordination, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the development of customer service skills have been the biggest and most valuable in improvement, as I am no longer shy and afraid to talk to people.
