Creativity and excellent computer skills are needed.Web Editor: Work with the Web Site Production team to design and create the online weather page. Create Microsoft Excel spreadsheets with the forecast for news partners. Also, during severe weather the site is updated live and continuous for multiple sites.News Editor: Find, edit and render both video and audio for newscasts. Skills in using editing software and moving at a very fast pace is needed.Trainer: Mentor and train new editors and meteorologists.Public Presenter: Design and create Microsoft PowerPoint presentations used to teach and inform people of ages ranging from 3 to adult about different weather aspects. Design and built a tornado machine as a fun visual aid. Allow and participate in question and answer sessions.

Lab Instructor: Plan, design and create multiple Microsoft PowerPoint presentations along with various visual aids to teach college students in multiple classes. Create, distribute and grade homework, quizzes and tests. Demonstrate an enthusiasm for science to keep attention and educate students. Office Attendant: Regular office duties such as answering phone, making copies and greeting visitors making them feel welcomed. Also, keep records up-to-date, and help with various duties including the bulletin, reminders to congregation members, etc.Retreat Founder & Supervisor: Created and implemented a spring student retreat. Supervise and manage a team of up to 15 volunteers. This position is in charge of everything from the management of the site, food and finances, speakers, living arrangements and several other duties too numerous to list here.Public Speaker: Give weekly announcements in front of congregation and at public events.Liaison: Keep a close relationship with Emporia State University, be a representative at their council meetings and keep an open line of communication.Head of Advertisement: Create and design publications using Microsoft Word and/or Microsoft Publisher. Using connections as a liaison and having advertisements distributed around college campus.Head of Dollar Dinner event: Find and schedule student organizations to be involved with cooking dinner open to the public. In charge of supplying organizations with a meal list and buying all supplies needed while staying within a budget. Supervise and help when needed during actual event.

Psychosocial Specialist: Work with a group of Severely Emotional Disturbed (SED) children ages 5-18 years old to develop social skills and understand social norms with a strict and structured environment. Children were divided into age groups and then were taught through example, games, and study time what was appropriate in a variety of circumstances. Also, safety during dangerous situations was a primary necessity, this meant needing patience and the ability to stay calm under high stress situations.Psychosocial Specialist Team Leader (Promotion): In charge of 9 staff and 30 children. Planned daily events, mapped out logistics, gave assignments, decided on studies, and scheduled lunch for assigned group. Planning had to involve aspects of being entertaining and educational. Leader must appear fun and flexible while being able to become authoritative and decisive at a moments notice.Crisis Team Leader (Promotion): On call during the day and used in dealing with dangerous patients. Work one-on-one, and at times as a group, to create a safe environment and calm patient down. If necessary, certified physical restraint is used. When not working on a "crisis", utilized as a regular psychosocial specialist with different groups.
