Security Coordinator
CurrentAs the Unit Support Coordinator for the Baghdad Diplomatic Support Center for Baghdad, Iraq, lead a detail of 65 personnel providing protective security for US Department of State and friendly partner nation personnel including Ambassadors, Senior Diplomats, US, and partner nation senior military officials under the direction of the Regional Security Officer (RSO) and company leadership. Security Management Direct a team of 65 Paramedics, Designated Defensive Marksman, and numerous Protective Security Specialists. Ensure all aspects of organizing, supervising, and scheduling assigned Protective Response Services (PRS) personnel to ensure that the protective security requirements of contract and task orders are met. Provide security for various venues in support of US Diplomatic Security program to ensure the safety and security of Diplomats.Physical Security Protect diplomat’s security and protection from potential harm, kidnapping, potential embarrassment, or safety threats under the direction of the Department of State/Regional Security Officer. Performed all assignment requirements while dispatched on a protective service assignment for the country of Iraq. Security Team Management Coordinate with and receive the concurrence of Department of State /Regional Security Officer on team staffing issues. Evaluate and qualify personnel and identify leadership promotion potential with the concurrence of the Department of State/Regional Security Officer.
