As the Unit Support Coordinator for the Baghdad Diplomatic Support Center for Baghdad, Iraq, lead a detail of 65 personnel providing protective security for US Department of State and friendly partner nation personnel including Ambassadors, Senior Diplomats, US, and partner nation senior military officials under the direction of the Regional Security Officer (RSO) and company leadership. Security Management Direct a team of 65 Paramedics, Designated Defensive Marksman, and numerous Protective Security Specialists.  Ensure all aspects of organizing, supervising, and scheduling assigned Protective Response Services (PRS) personnel to ensure that the protective security requirements of contract and task orders are met. Provide security for various venues in support of US Diplomatic Security program to ensure the safety and security of Diplomats.Physical Security Protect diplomat’s security and protection from potential harm, kidnapping, potential embarrassment, or safety threats under the direction of the Department of State/Regional Security Officer.  Performed all assignment requirements while dispatched on a protective service assignment for the country of Iraq. Security Team Management Coordinate with and receive the concurrence of Department of State /Regional Security Officer on team staffing issues. Evaluate and qualify personnel and identify leadership promotion potential with the concurrence of the Department of State/Regional Security Officer.

Baghdad, Iraq

Manage protective service operations and mobile security for the US State Department personnel and various other VIP’s. Ensure that all PRS personnel, are properly trained, equipped, briefed, and mentally and physically prepared each time they are dispatched on protective services assignments.  Develop and implement plans for the following: Route surveys, Alternative routes, Safe havens, Contingency operations, Facility perimeter security, Foot patrol coordination, Evacuation, Coordinating with and receiving supporting elements for quick reaction force operations during kinetic events.  Managed safe operations of assigned Liberty 1 Protective Services Detail transportation to ensure safety of principals. Conducted advance security reconnaissance of projected routes. Maintained protective formations positions daily in and outside of the Baghdad Diplomatic Support Center. Assisted in the planning, scheduling, and organizing of daily Protective Services Detail team activities.  Served as Tactical Commander for any Quick Reactionary Force or Recovery Situation. Conducted high profile motorcades to the U.S. Embassy Baghdad from Baghdad Diplomatic Support Center for various Regional Security Officer’s/U.S. Army Generals.

Baghdad, Iraq

Performed day-to-day protective security functions and Emergency Response Team member as specified in daily post and detail orders. In charge of safe operations of assigned Liberty 1 Protective Services Detail transportation to ensure the safety of principals. Conducted advance security reconnaissance of projected routes.  Maintained protective formations positions daily in and outside of the Baghdad Diplomatic Support Center. Planned, scheduled, and organized daily Protective Services Detail team activities.  Served as Shift Leader for any Quick Reactionary Force or Recovery Situation. Moving various clients to and from the US Embassy Baghdad in various profiles high-profile, low-profile, and repro-style convoy configurations.

Bangui

Directed all aspects of base security as a member of the Emergency Response Team for the Bangui Embassy Compound. Served as a member of the Quick Reaction Force for the entire installation and any other location directed from the Regional Security Officer to include the off-base residence where State Department personnel live. Provided advanced medical care on the scene of the situation if needed.  Manned security posts at principles residence, command post, or any other static post as required. Conducted low profile movements with clients throughout various venues or any new location that the client may need to go to including flying to different parts of the Central African Republic for long-range missions.  Provided close personnel protection for all VIP’s that come to Bangui. Some of the various clients include the US ambassador of Central African Republic, Bangui. Various US Generals from United States Africa Command, State Department Diplomats, US AID officials, and many other VIPS.

Baghdad, Iraq

Managed all aspects of base security to include active shooter situations, hazmat situations, vehicle entry control points, personnel entry control points, indirect and direct fire situations, and airfield lockdowns.  Served as a member of the Quick Reaction Force for the entire installation and any other location directed from the Regional Security Officer. Provided advanced medical care on the scene of the situation if needed. Manned security posts at principles residence, command post, or any other static post as required.  Provided close personnel protection for all VIPs to include the Vise President of the United States, US ambassador of Iraq, Secretary of Defense, various US Generals, State Department Diplomats, Australian Prime Minister, Australian Minister of Defense, and various other VIP’s.

Kuwait

Conducted one hundred percent access media to the camp, maintained and monitored all CCTV systems, and all entry points into the base. Performed search of all vehicles that entered the base to include all personnel by inspecting each individual. Provided personal security for base command; to include Generals, Colonels, Majors, Command Sargent Majors, and any other VIP’s visiting the installation. Conduct Quick Reaction Force procedures for any hostile actions on the installation in order to protect all Department of Defense personnel in the Area of Operations. Act as the first line of defense for base operations and provide command and control for personal security details for inbound personnel to the installation.

Afghanistan

Served in multiple platoons conducting bridge reconnaissance missions, convoy security with lead vehicle or follow-vehicle, whenever required in motorcade or similar operations with security all over Afghanistan.  Driving lead or follow-vehicle and or acting as response agent/or team to anything that may occur. Command and controlled Traffic Control Points, Entry Control Points, Manned a Quick Reaction Force Response Team, Bridge Deconstruction along highway one.
