At Kaizen Asset Management, I have played a pivotal role in overseeing the management, operations, and financial aspects of the Fire Sky Lodging family of hospitality brands and operating companies, which is the largest privately held vacation rental management company in the US. I joined the organization in January 2020, tasked with revitalizing an underperforming business unit. I have played a pivotal roll in growing the company via mergers and acquisitions and integrating acquired entities into our operations. Since 2021, I have taken on dual roles as Chief Financial Offer across all affiliated companies and served as President of multiple operating entities helping to maximize revenue and profits.

I am the founder and Operating at Partner FourKE, Inc. a multi-unit Jimmy John’s Franchisee. I built and opened our first location in 2011 and have grown to seven locations, 140 employees. I have been responsible for selecting locations, managing the construction and hiring for six newly constructed locations and I negotiated the purchase of a seventh. I oversaw day-to-day operations of our locations including hiring, training, marketing, product ordering and inventories, and customer service. I also handled all bookkeeping and produced financial reports, internal analysis and franchisor compliance. I have touched every aspect of the business from creation and start-up to growth and development to finance and human resources and IT. My experience has given me a wide range of skills and an appreciation of every department that supports and fuels a successful business. As Operating Partner I had the unique experience of being the most senior person in the company. I did not have the ability to, “ask my boss”. If a problem or decision came to me, I had to solve it or it did not get solved. This was a responsibility that made me a more efficient and proactive problem solver. It has forced me to attack problems head on, without procrastinating. This also forced me to be a better manager and trainer. I have learned to empower my subordinates to solve problems and develop their judgment and problem solving skills.
