Authored Work Instructions, Manufacturing Forms and SOPs in accordance with ISO 13485:2016 guidelines. Performed equipment IQ/OQ/PQ and established preventative maintenance plan. Evaluated process and product improvements to reduce costs and improve material properties. Lead Root Cause/Corrective Action studies triggered by Customer Complaints as well as internal errors. Key contributor in product development, specifically in turnover from R&D to Production.

Facilitated successful kick-off and execution of engineered pump projects up to $15M as leader of a 5-member contract execution team. Directed project kickoff meetings with high-ranking customer officials, managing customer and end user expectations against factory capabilities. Developed detailed manufacturing programs working with engineering and operations, maintaining project schedule milestones and contractual shipment dates. Served as customer advocate and primary point of contact for all outside communications. Reported to Goulds senior staff on key customers and target projects.

Technical expert in configuration, design and manufacture of highly engineered centrifugal pumps as engineering lead on project team. Key driver in negotiation of technical project scope discussions; utilizing comprehensive understanding of products, manufacturing restrictions and industry standards to reconcile discrepancies between orders and specifications. Fielded calls for all technical issues encountered during manufacture, assembly, testing, and field start-up of pumps and provided solutions using root cause analysis. Specified requirements for the procurement and requisition of buy-out components such as: piping, instrumentation, and accessories. In doing so, was solely responsible for compatibility not only with the equipment but with the customer specifications and system requirements as well. Supervised both witnessed and non-witnessed testing of individual components and complete pump packages, distilling raw data and results into technical reports.

Provided technical management of large (>$250K) projects for agitators used in power industry from sizing and selection through field start-up (cradle-to-the-grave). Designed and performed mixing experiments in process technology laboratory for new or difficult processes, utilizing various measurement tools. Conducted yearly on-site training, educating sales engineers on factory practices, new products, and lessons learned.
