As a front end web developer, I worked to build custom web components and JavaScript-based functionality to integrate with Shopify’s ecosystem. I worked alongside my team to translate client needs into actionable tickets, estimate those tickets, and implement solutions based on prioritization. I also did multiple site-wide reviews to find and rectify bugs related to accessibility, content, layout and functionally, and code. As a Production Quality Review Specialist, l helped contribute to the team goal of ensuring that CFA Institute produced and distributed high-quality print and online publications, video, and online learning products. I reviewed production quality and collaborated with producers to make certain that the end product met established standards. • Reviewed print and online publications, video, and online learning products produced by Multimedia Publishing Strategy and Services and other departments throughout the organization for quality standards established by internal clients and the Multimedia Publishing team. Types of products included but were not limited to: CFA Program curriculum (print, eBook, and mobile apps), serial publications, webcasts, online courses, marketing communications, and promotional materials.• Ensured consistency across products and using CFA Institute house editorial style, marketing guidelines, and legal standards.• Closely collaborated with internal clients, both within Strategic Products and Technology Division and elsewhere in CFA Institute, to determine needs and goals regarding products’ quality and schedule.• Worked with Production Quality Review teammates and other members of Multimedia Publishing to develop, document, and implement the quality review process for various types of products. • Used, maintained, and ensured relevance of an extensive set of checklists used for reviewing production quality.
