As a senior software engineer it is my responsibility to create, update, analyze and maintain automations, DRCs, plugins, and various process/procedure documentation for the R&D Electrical department. Week by week I (and members of my team) handle administration and support for Electrical's CADD systems, and regularly manage a number of projects relating to improving these systems. Project scale for these run somewhere between day-long changes to process or bug fixes to large, year-long multi-departmental projects. Projects are managed using both the waterfall and Agile development frameworks; whichever is best suited to the situation at hand.

At Navistar, I work with design and test engineers to make the design process more efficient using custom software. I strive to write fast code that gets the job done using as little resources as possible, all while keeping its innerworkings hidden from the user. I do whatever my job requires me to do to get the job done, which includes learning new code languages, new skills, and new communication tactics. Recently my job has extended to include relating databases to user systems as necessary in whatever methods are required.
