Since 2020, I have been working independently as the Founder and Senior Retoucher of K/POST. I work with brands and creative agencies, specializing in retouching and post-production services to bring creative visions to life. My work primarily involves coordinating with teams to create cohesive campaigns for large brands. K/POST has collaborated with notable brands like Nike, Adidas, and Google, as well as top creative agencies including Wieden + Kennedy, 72 and Sunny, Mojo Supermarket, and Opinionated, enhancing their visual content and expanding their capabilities.

As Creative Director for Gatherwise skincare, I played a pivotal role in steering the brand's identity to resonate with the luxury market. Collaborating closely with designers, we crafted a refined and cohesive brand aesthetic that sets Gatherwise apart in the competitive skincare landscape. My responsibilities extended to developing robust graphic and photography systems, providing a clear framework for brand managers to maintain consistency in their marketing efforts. Today, I continue to guide the brand's visual evolution, overseeing design updates from the website to the packaging, ensuring that every touchpoint reflects the premium quality and ethos of Gatherwise.

I conceived and developed a unique and experimental product photography service as a side project to my day job. Working with many vendors and a large SAAS stack to make the service work was a huge learning experience in project management, team management, brand development, financial forecasting, and the list goes on.

I cannot put a value on the experience I gained at WK. This role provided invaluable insights into the creative process at the best ad shop in the world. I worked on campaigns for major brands, focusing on retouching, compositing, and color grading. I contributed to pre-production planning for cost- effectiveness, ensured seamless transitions from production to post-production, and led photo shoots with diverse teams. My work also involved developing new retouching techniques to stay abreast of industry trends and technology.

I started here scanning large format commercial film on a drum scanner. The kind that would rip your hand off if you put it in the wrong place. This was around the time when Photoshop and retouching was coming up so I transitioned into doing retouching work in the newly established digital lab.
