Full-stack software engineer, working on a SaaS platform for analysis of data produced at STFC's experiment facilities.On the technical front, I have gained experience in: REST API development (with FastAPI); UI/UX design and implementation using JavaScript, Svelte and SvelteKit; use, and administration, of databases (primarily NoSQL DBs, e.g. MongoDB); cloud computing (OpenStack), networking and system administration.I have also accrued technical leadership experience, through management of junior engineers, and delivery of workshops covering technologies such as Git. Alongside this, I undertake on-call responsibilities and regularly liaise with end-users to resolve issues and implement requested features.

Summer intern as part of the CMM Division's Systems Verification and Integration team at Renishaw (New Mills site).

Placement at St. Mary's Redcliffe and Temple School, Bristol.Successful completion of the placement involved helping in science classes, solo teaching experience, and extra-curricular work at both secondary and sixth-form level. I also experienced a high level of responsibility, supervising groups during the end-of-term activity week.
