Mr. Plumpton holds an honours degree in Geography, GIS and Environmental Analysis from the University of Guelph. He also maintains his designation as a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) with the Ontario Association of Certified Technicians and Technologists (OACETT). Mr. Plumpton has more than 12years of environmental consulting experience and has completed projects at multiple scales for a variety of public and private clients. He has conducted and managed Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Site Remediations, Hydrogeological Assessments, Geotechnical Investigations, and other environmental consulting related services. He has also managed Indoor Air Quality Assessments and provided support on Soil Vapour Assessments to assess the potential for volatile impacts to present potential health risks via vapour infiltration and inhalation of indoor air. Mr. Plumpton has also conducted professional peer reviews of Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments , at the request of various private and public clients. Mr. Plumpton has extensive experience with field data collection, including subsurface investigations, groundwater aquifer quantity and quality testing, site assessments, and surface water and air monitoring. He also has experience sampling groundwater, surface water, soil and sediment and comparing to applicable provincial and federal standards. Mr. Plumpton also has experience sampling Designated Substances such as asbestos and lead, and completing Designated Substances Surveys.
