I am trained in cellular and molecular biology with additional experience in biochemistry and stem cell biology. My strongest specialties are in CRISPR-editing cells and microscopy, although I have a deep, well-rounded skill set.My academic career, in brief, has consisted of projects looking at organelle trafficking, CRISPR-based genome editing knock-ins and knockouts, advanced microscopy, HIV particle release, protein-lipid biochemistry, and editing and differentiating induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).I have additional experience training students and I am a strong presenter, showcased by being awarded "Outstanding PhD Thesis."I am a big fan of working in a collaborative environment that values teamwork, while simultaneously having a high degree of independence and autonomy.
