I'm a video producer by day, independent claims adjuster also by day. Weird combo? Maybe! Let's talk about production: I have an extensive background in multimedia production, including directing, editing, and writing videos, plus early adventures as a radio journalist and freelance writer. My lifelong obsession with movies has a big influence on the way I think about my work, and whenever possible I try to bring a bit of cinematic flair to the table. I love the storytelling aspect of what I do, and I relish the creative process: developing ideas and moving all the pieces into place to make something new and unique. Most of all, I love working in the field with production crews, whether I'm producing or directing. I have experience working for an agency as independently, and I'm always interested in new and unique opportunities to make something cool.Over the course of my career, I have produced a wide range of video projects for local, national, and international clients, including DIRECTV, Marriott, AT&T, USAA, University of Wisconsin, University of Illinois Health, Capital One, Visa, T-Mobile, Coca Cola, Anheuser-Busch, and Yale Law School.Now let's talk about insurance: in 2023, after being impacted by major restructuring at my last agency job, I was encouraged by a friend to pursue claims adjusting as a means to, shall we say, diversifying my portfolio. I'm now licensed in Florida and Georgia and working property claims on a regular basis around Atlanta. It's something I never would have seen myself doing 6 months ago, but it has quickly grown on me. I mostly work daily claims, but I am open to cat deployments as well.When I'm off the clock, I enjoy creative pursuits in my personal time as well, including writing, photography, and painting. In another life I spent some time as a podcast cohost, a ski technician, and a part-time bowling alley mechanic.
