MIG is at the Intersection of Creativity + Technology, brining clients from concept to design, from planning to set-up to show-time.As Technical Director my responsibilities require me to: -Complete projects within assigned budget-Read and interpret electronic blueprints-Direct all personnel and activities on project site-Read and understand documents for each assigned project including, but not limited to: project scopes of work, drawings and specifications, contract, subcontractor scopes of work, and Project schedules-Obtain quotes from qualified subcontractors as necessary-Facilitate internal project kick-off meetings that include key participants from sales, engineering, fabrication, installation -Create and manage the project schedule and coordinate appropriate resources for all assigned projects-Point of contact for all internal and external project communication and documentation for the life of the project-Acquire progress reports from lead technicians and respond to needs identified-Manage all internal and external project change orders-Address all project team questions in a timely manner-Travel to various job sites required-Maintain effective communication and interaction with employees, clients and colleagues- Lead onsite production including Show Calling.-Troubleshoot and solve project related issues-Understand and maintain project budgets-Effectively manage multiple projects-Demonstrate time management skills with attention to detail-Understand AV system functionality and installation processes and techniques-Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat, Vectorworks & Renderworks

The roll of Production Manager for Cirque Productions includes overseeing production and acquisition of new scenic elements and the upkeep and repair of existing inventory.
