Assists in the formulation and definition of system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems: - Assists in preparing detailed design specifications from which programs will be written.Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains application programs.Consults with users or other IT professionals to resolve issues with programs. Assists in the creation and execution of various testing documentation (including plans, conditions and scripts) based on technical and user requirements: a. Writes and maintains test automation. b. Tests software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. c. Assists in the performance of regression testing. d. Maintains Test Script Library.Assists in the documentation of problems and coordinates resolutions.Assists in the identification of improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations.Develops business knowledge and customer relationships.

Indexes scanned or faxed documents for the most complex customer accounts.Performs quality checks, assuring legibility of all documents. Complies with appropriate company and / or regulatory guidelines. Obtains accurate information (policy numbers, procedures, product codes, batch numbers, claim numbers and customer numbers) for scanned documents. Applies automated and / or manual index values to documents. Returns incomplete documents for correction to prepping, scanning, storage, etc.May contact agents, insureds, claimants, etc. for additional information, as needed.May assist with testing system upgrades and enhancements.May perform prepping and imaging functions, as needed, to meet business needs.May perform other clerical tasks including clerical support, filing, photocopying, document assembly, word processing, reception / switchboard, mailing, data entry and supply functions.Interacts with customers to provide information in response to inquiries. Researches and resolves customer issues / complaints to ensure customer satisfaction. Documents processes used to correct issues.Provides guidance and assistance to lower level positions.Applies expert knowledge of department policies and procedures and utilizes broad understanding of the business and organization.
