In Web Fulfilment, I may spend the day picking items for online customer orders from tickets. I would then organise the items I picked by the ticket's delivery type (Click & Collect, Delivery via courier, Staff). On another day I could be assisting with the despatching the orders to be sent up the packing line, or I could be packing the items in paper bags or boxes, based on the size and number of items.Additionally, I would also help with preparing the pallets to be despatched by the couriers, and loading the complete pallets into the appropriate trailer or van.I may also provide support for the Returns team, helping with processing and the sortation of returned items from stores and customers.

Temporary contract working with the returns team.My day can involve processing returns from online orders or the stores into the Returns warehouse. I would check over any returned items for any damage or imperfection. Once I filter out any stock that fails the checks or is flagged for recalls & holdings, I would create the transfer and move the stock to the appropriate location.Another of the tasks I could be assigned for that day would be the sortation of processed stock to be moved over to the main warehouse's picking locations, the warehouse for larger items, or placed in dedicated overflow locations. This would involve palletising the totes, and using pallet jacks to move the full pallets to the loading area. Additionally, I would remove and transfer any faulty or recalled stock from the line to process as neccesary.In the main warehouse, I would place the items processed from the returns warehouse into picking locations for the Web Fulfilment team. I would also assign locations to any items that were out of stock, allowing any orders containing those items to be fulfilled. I would also seperate any items to be transferred to the other warehouses, and place them in the appropriate storage area.

Occasionally, I would operate the in-store bakery - baking or thawing goods, ensuring stock levels are sufficient, creating and amending stock ordering, and packaging goods be to be displayed on the shop floor
