I am a recent graduate from the University of Hertfordshire, achieving a pass with commendation in MA Human Resources management which is also a CIPD accredited qualification. I also have also achieved a degree in BA Human Resources Management from the same University which also included a year in industry at Kodak Alaris, as a HR Intern, with which I earned a City and Guilds Licentiateship. I am currently seeking an entry level role with HR administrative duties in order to further my professional development before hopefully taking on a role with more managerial responsibilities. I am aware that there are many different working areas within HR from recruitment to employment relations but at this time I am willing to collect as much experience as possible and therefore have no preference should there be a specific area that a role requires me to work within.In regards to my skills set, my previous employment and educational experiences have taught me to be proficient at timekeeping, being organised, having effective communication both horizontally and vertically within an organisation and to be able to practice discretion and anonymity which is essential for any HR practitioner. As for personal qualities and characteristics that make me marketable to an organisation, I am a very determined person who will see through difficult tasks until they are completed to a good standard. As far as interests go outside of the HR profession, I enjoy playing rounds of golf as my go to sport as well as playing a trading card game called ‘Magic: the Gathering’. The best description I have ever heard for the game was that it was a mix of ‘Dungeons and Dragons’, poker and chess. It provides me with a hobby that nurtures a competitive spirit as well as providing good mental exercise.
