About Kyle Rucker

I am a driven person. I would rather walk the walk vs. talk the talk. I founded Project Footsteps in 2005 and it has been a seriously interesting, and intriguing experience. The toughest part about this was realizing that there aren't many people out there who value the potential of young people. I hope that throughout my life I am able to inspire others, lead others, and most importantly, arm/prepare the upcoming generation to sit at the table!My background and exposure with Social Work Leadership Services during my freshman year taught me a lot about the society we live in, poverty, and Humanity. As a former homeless kid, I had the experience and that experience prepared me to better serve and work with kids in the same situation. I have a deep understanding of what these kids go through and that is a big reason why I founded Project Footsteps which has inspired, empowered and prepared over 24,000 young people throughout the country to be agents of change and social leaders within their schools, communities, and organizations.
