Since the pandemic as started to settle down, my attention turned to working at another state of employment to further build my experience within the field of retail. Technically staying with the Sainsburys company umbrella, I worked for a short time at Argos. This was a mix between interacting with customers and my fellow co-workers to fulfil orders placed from in store purchases to deliveries. As well as such interactions, it gave me time to be independent and have myself keep up with orders and keep pace with the continuous flow of products being sold throughout the day. This gave me tactics to pace myself to ensure a constant stream of quality outcome to fulfil the high demand of purchases through the day as well as skills to shoot myself from one task to another and always be on my toes and prepare for something new I must do from my general rota of work.

During the epidemic that came around in 2020, my previous employment could not afford to keep a casual worker for long. Moving my sights to an industry no one could really withhold access and was in deep need for staff. Working at Sainsburys gave me an oppotunity to adapt my skills from my previous jobs to a new environment where I have to instead interact with co-workers and support them instead of the general public. As such, I learnt how to better follow schedules and ensuring others keep to their responsibilities as well as my own.Gaining confidence as well, I put myself out to support the company further by relieving pressure off overloaded companions so that a better output of the job could be achieved for the end customer satisfaction.

Gaining the second job, it started a skill of balance in managing work, education, and personal interests. All of which at the time I wished to envelop into something greater as the sight of a career was coming closer. With two jobs mirroring each other in skills requirements, it supported the fact that I could pay for a car, allowing me to work more flexible hours in both jobs and be independent in going to a place of education. This allowed for a gain of individuality, thinking at terms that would suit myself and allowing for others to be minimally affected by it to suit their own accords and situations. Such as family members working more hours than usual or grandparents unable to drive due to new physical impairments.

Starting with the first job at only 16, this required a certificate from the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ). This allowed me to use practical skills of first aid, teamwork, and co-operation. To work with the public is a challenge to overcome so having a forward and positive attitude allowed for a progression in speaking with strangers, supporting those with disabilities and issues, and even those hurt with potential life in danger situations. All converting to my personal life to build a much stronger character. And as well as that, it also included mandatory training sessions every month, all of which successfully completed without issues and including a good laugh.
