Responsible for administration and management of Cortez Sanitation District, including, but not limited to: operations, budget, procurement, strategic development, and policy and procedural development and implementation, federal and state regulation of waste-water treatment, coordination and contractual agreements with municipal entity, and communications with Board of Directors. Supervised Superintendent and Office Manager.

Responsible for management and operations of all facets of contractual water and waste-water utilities in central Texas, including rural systems, municipalities and industrial systems, including, but not limited to: procurement of supplies and equipment; budgeting for fixed and variable expenses; sales and marketing; communications with Boards and management regarding current situations and future needs; liaison between the state regulatory agency and management for the city or system’s owner; extensive record keeping for compliance; facilitating permitting and overseeing laboratory operations; safety and compliance training.
