Designated Subject Matter Expert on NERC CIP Compliance in the substation environment. I currently lead NERC CIP compliance efforts for CenterPoint Energy Substation Operations. Responsibilities include:• Developing processes and procedures to meet compliance requirements by collaborating with interdepartmental teams and SMEs• Evaluating technical capabilities of substation IEDs and their cyber security impact on the substation environment• Managing annual compliance activities alongside SMEs within the Policy and Compliance Department• Assisting in personnel training• Working alongside engineering groups during pilot project design to ensure compliance• Evaluating technical solutions that aid in compliance activities and substation IED management

• I worked in the Vault group in the Major Underground Engineering Department • I utilized CAD software to edit relay and electrical one line diagrams for numerous types of protection schemes that are installed in electrical vaults• I have attended numerous inspections of ongoing and completed projects of all different sizes throughout the Houston area
