Kyle Smithson is an executive producer and actor who left his hometown outside of Nashville, Tennessee at an early age to pursue his acting career in Los Angeles. Before the age of 30, Kyle produced five feature films, (“Easter Lake,” “The Ones,” “Burn,” “Enough Is Enough” and “Purge”) while also appearing in various movies, theater, television shows and commercials (including “True Blood,” “The Storm,” Greek,” “Memorandum” and many more). While talent came naturally to Smithson, the ability to truly dedicate himself to his craft was a long and winding road. Having spent a number of months by his mother’s side in a battle for her life against cancer, while simultaneously watching his father drift away and, ultimately, surrender to Alzheimer’s, tied with overcoming divorce, a lawsuit, and fighting the devil with alcohol and drug addiction, to nearly becoming homeless, Smithson possesses an undefeated resilience and gumption to conquer his personal setbacks. After leaving LA, Kyle’s career led him back to his roots in Tennessee where he teamed up with Whale Tale Media Co. to co-produce a number of music videos (such as: Muscadine Bloodline’s “Dispatch To 16th Ave, Trey Lewis's "Single Again," Chris Colston's "Goodbye Gasoline" official music videos and more). Captivated by the works of Adam Sandler and Jim Carey for their comedic wizardry, Ryan Reynolds for his diversity, and Tim Burton, J.J. Abrams and Ron Howard as ingenious “risk takers,” Kyle is prepared to roll the dice. From behind the lens, Kyle has a keen eye for color, imagery and depth. From action to wrap, he seamlessly orchestrates the pieces of the puzzle that we call motion picture film. Recently, The CEO and Founder of Red Diamond Pictures executive produced and acted in the feature film, “Muzzle,” which peaked in the Top 5 on Apple TV+. In addition, he is working on major motion picture films as an executive producer in “Land Of Bad,” “The Beast in Me” and "Bad Hombres.”
