As the Events Coordinator, I manage various events (Conferences, Symposiums, Film Shoots, Weddings, Memorials, Concerts, Sports Games) for commercial clients from conception to execution on the Chapman University properties. Some of my key duties include account management, contract negotiation, risk management, vendor management, day-of-event execution, budgeting, and deposit/payment tracking. In addition to these duties, I also managed the University's executive guest suites and campus ticketing platform.

Long Beach, California

Associated Students, Inc. is a California State University, Long Beach student-run business that supports and provides resources for students, faculty, and commercial tenants. As the Lead Building & Events Manager, I served as the "administrative face" for the University Student Union events department. Some of my primary responsibilities included event management and execution, recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, training & development in advanced audiovisual technology, emergency management, and customer service. I was also responsible for researching and implementing policies or programs that would increase the efficiency of operational processes within my department and staff.

Long Beach, California

As the Building Manager, my primary responsibility was managing the daily operation of the 180,000 sq. ft. Student Center by overseeing building operations staff, event staff, and audiovisual technicians. This position would remain the main point of contact for all setup, audio-visual, maintenance, custodial, and emergency management needs for the client. Some of the events included but are not limited to: weddings, memorials, lectures, conferences, formals, children’s parties, and international press covered events.

Costa Mesa

As a Recreation Leader for the City of Costa Mesa, my main job duties included the management of the events program during facility rentals within the Costa Mesa Community Center / Senior Center. I was also responsible for developing and managing the after-school child care program R.O.C.K.S. across 10 different campuses that provided supervision and educational programs for children grades K - 8.
