I am currently the Founder, CEO and CIO of Kyso Financial, LLC. Yes I do it all but that is the life of a founder of a startup looking to build a company the old fashion way of hard work and reinvesting cash flows. I started my career as a software developer though sadly got burnt out on this quickly as I discovered after college this is not my true passion. Growing up I also had a passion for companies, how they made money, how they were formed and the effects of compounding on a persons savings. This led me toward my true passion in the financial industry. I found myself consuming every available moment from waking to sleep thinking about and working toward success on the stock market. I would even spend time when I should have been doing other things at my job researching stocks. Every evening was consumed researching companies, sifting through financial statements, listening through that company's earnings call for the 3rd time and noting the exact day and times of the next earnings call releases so I would not miss it. I realized I needed to make the transition into the investment industry. After talking with a few people in the industry I discovered the best path would be to pursue my series 65 certification. I spent the next 9 months studying for the series 65 where I went on to pass it in my first attempt. The next task would lie in getting into the industry. I didn't want to get into sales or doing research for others because I was afraid that would just yet again kill my passion in a field I enjoyed. That is what led to me starting Kyso Financial, LLC so I could skip all the corporate drama, office politics and invest the portfolio my way.
