Leading the fuels engineering teams in North America for the FMC division of Eaton Aerospace.

Responsible for defining and managing the additive manufacturing IRAD portfolio for the FMC Division of Eaton Aerospace. Additional responsibilities include:- Develop the strategy, road map and execution plan for leveraging the capabilities of various additive manufacturing modalities within the FMC division. Experience with laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF), electron beam powder bed fusion (EBM), powder fed directed energy deposition (DED), cold spray, binder jetting, and selective laser sintering (SLS).- Lead the effort to deploy AM across the FMC organization including ensuring the continued education of the cross-functional organization.- Act as program manager for various lead projects to drive progress of early TRL programs.

Responsible for identifying and developing Additive Manufacturing opportunities in support of the Aerospace Aftermarket business. In this role I am also responsible for defining the Aftermarket Additive Manufacturing strategy, identifying potential partnerships and new business opportunities, and managing customer engagement. Led major cold spray process development program to develop, test, and qualify this novel repair process.

Manage commercial and military aircraft fuel pump development projects and support production pumps. Responsible for creating project plans, cost estimates, test procedures, test reports, compliance reports and specification negotiation. Responsible for development hardware evaluation and disposition. Led major development efforts such as the C-5 Boost Pump Motor Redesign, GEnx -2 Product Improvements, and F-22 Cable Harness Redesign. Significant experience supporting aftermarket projects including investigations, maintenance manual drafting / review, and pump performance analysis.

Completed four rotations at GE Aviation in Global Sourcing, Development Engine Assembly, PDD Evaluation, and Configurations Design. Significant accomplishments include leading the teardown and inspection of a GEnx development engine, creating an Access database for PO’s saving the department hundreds of man hours per year, and implementing material changes on pneumatic piping leading to $400k annual savings.
