For game artists, ideas don't stop at "What if?" It's our job to take these fleeting thoughts and bring them to life as a character in their own world. Starting out as a semi-casual gamer with Runescape and Diablo, I eventually took an interest in creating games when I discovered the online platform Roblox. Over time, I became an active member of the game development community there, serving as a contractor for 3D models in addition to being a member of several development teams over my eight years on the platform.During the later half of those eight years, I entered college at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and majored in Interactive Media and Game Design, where I learned to work with Autodesk Maya and Max, Pixologic's ZBrush, and do graphic design and texture work in Adobe Photoshop. I also gleaned some experience with Unreal Engine, Unity, and Gamemaker.As a soon-to-be graduate having completed all of their requirements, I am now searching for a full-time position with a game development studio.In addition to game design, I enjoy creating art, assembling models, performing music on my trombone, going camping, and playing some video games.
