I love to run and I love to learn about anything that relates to running. I’m interested in lots of different health science fields such as physical therapy, sports psychology, biomechanics, and sports nutrition. Some of the classes I've taken to learn more are Exercise Science and Sports Medicine CE as well as AP biology. Outside of school I spend all my time running track and cross country. I was the runner up at the state cross country meet and first team all region for southwest this year. I am currently interning at Elevate Physical Therapy in Orem, UT. It helps me learn more about the body and helps me explore different pathways in the exercise science field. It can help me get accepted into college programs and give me DPT volunteer hours. In my downtime I work as a lifeguard and REC cross country coach. I spend lots of time running, and I also spend time researching different components of elite performance. I am always looking for ways to get better at running whether that means reading books, learning how different muscles work, or studying different breathing techniques.
