As a territory sales representative it was my duty to maintain and serve restaurants that utilize Kay Chemical products. I managed 650 accounts in a variety of facets. Primarily I would visit 8-10 locations daily, doing product demonstrations and presentations for general managers to drive sales and growth of other divisions. These locations had mechanical dispensers that automatically mixed our products into solutions that were appropriate for their cleaning need. It was part of my responsibility to calibrate the dispensers and titrate the solutions to ensure that they were using the proper concentration of product and water. In the case of a machine breaking or malfunctioning, I could be contacted by the store to solve their issue, this is called and Extra Service Request. In the case of a new store opening, I would contact the site supervisor and install the equipment. It was my responsibility to manage my own vehicle inventory, time card, schedule appointments, generate leads for other divisions, and drive sales growth.
