I applied for an in store position for U-Haul, thinking I would help answer the phone, process rentals or help hook up trailers and whatnot for people renting with U-haul. About a week later, I receive a call from someone in the reservation manager's office inquiring if I would be interested in coming in for an interview for a reservation manager position. She commented my voicemail was rather warm and welcoming, making me an ideal candidate for a person on the phone. Ever since June of 2017, I've grown professionally in customer service, being detail oriented with reading scheduling logs and emails sent from various departments, learning phone etiquette, and being challenged to take on new tasks, based on the company's current goals needing to be met in sales, or tasks that need to be completed due to policy.
