Roles and responsibilities:- Coordinate and manage logistics for all Mako labs, ensuring seamless operations and efficient resource allocation.- Employ advanced communication skills to facilitate collaboration between delegates and staff, fostering a cohesive work environment.- Oversee the planning, design, and logistical execution of Stryker’s participation in the Australian Orthopaedic Association’s Annual Scientific Meeting, enhancing brand visibility and engagement.

- Responsible for developing marketing collateral for the events team- Developing communication plans for individual projects and executing on them to relevant internal and external stakeholders- Creating an engaging website page for internal use to collate key information and resources from the medical education team

My role during my internship at Stryker encompassed two key individual projects I was responsible for:1. Rejuvenating the Young Surgeon medical education program through assisting in internal promotion. To do this, I created a newsletter for surgeons that had an 81% open rate and a 25% click-through rate2. Scoped internal Stryker South Pacific stakeholder requirements for the Stryker Global Events CalendarCommunication was at the heart of both of these projects, displayed in my ability to collaborate with key stakeholders at Stryker to collate findings and data to present to the Stryker leadership team.

My tasks involve:- Managed customer expectations by addressing complaints related to product and online order issues by communicating in a constructive manner- Monitored key productivity metrics for the online team, such as units per hour and total minutes saved, to foster a culture of accountability- Ensured compliance with Kmart's daily Click n' Collect standards by frequently monitoring the Kmart order management system (OMS) to satisfy consumers- Identified and corrected inaccuracies in stock levels to assist with inventory management procedures to aid management in GAP Scanning processes and updating the online availability measures of products- Coordinated weekly ordering of resources, including satchels, boxes and tape, to sustain team productivity- Played a pivotal role in quality assurance by training new employees and overseeing the packing of products to maintain standards of excellence
