In my role as a Business Development Executive, I focused on outbound sales for our multi-currency B2B FX platform. My role included identifying target clients, qualifying businesses, and managing the customer due diligence process including any visits to a prospect’s offices. In a smaller company, I contributed to product rollouts, market research, as well as training new team members in product knowledge and sales techniques. I achieved this by utilizing cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and trade shows for outreach

I joined the Compleat angler as a waiter/barman in June of 2022 and very quickly grew to be running services my primary responsibilities were ensuring smooth and pleasant service was provided to the guests and well as all bills being correctly. This resulted in my promotion to food and beverage supervisor in August of 2022, following on from my promotion my responsibilities grew to include a lot more than running service. I was responsible for ordering bar and restaurant stock and equipment, this had to be done on time and accurately to allow the waiters an bar people to provide a good quality of service. I was also responsible for doing and issuing the rota as well as recording and approving all hours worked this proved challenging as we had a lot of young staff with limited availability and educational commitments. As the food and beverage supervisor I was expected to deal with any complaints or unsatisfied guests which required a great deal of problem solving and people skills to reach a beneficial outcome for both guest and business. Towards the back end of my role as F&B supervisor I started getting involved with hiring new staff(reviving CV’s, arranging trial shifts and deciding the hours and pay rate that new staff would be on)and the monthly audit(this was predominantly assisting the food and beverage director when there were any issues involving lost revenue such as new processes to put in place for revenue loss prevention)
