-Play a pivotal role in helping WGU expand and deepen its partnerships with industry leaders, employers, and education partners to support economic development in the region.-Research and identify industry, employment, and educational trends (including skills, programs, and credentials) that have the greatest potential for high regional growth and student impact in alignment with WGU’s mission.-Lead a team of Strategic Partnership Managers across the region.

-Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective flywheel partnerships through data driven prospect evaluation based upon defined partnership criteria, thorough research and industry needs analysis.-Coordinate the pursuit, signing and activation of new strategic partnerships. Transition new partnership relationships to National Partnerships Managers and Strategic Partnerships Managers for day-to-day relationship management.

-Responsible for establishing new corporate partners with the University, contract negotiation, and partnership development including engagement strategies and event planning. -Managed several national partnerships for the University.-Established 20+ corporate partnerships to date resulting in nearly 38% of the the state's enrollment originating from partners. -Managed large sponsorship relationships for the University including sports teams, conventions, banquets, and conferences.-Planned and implemented marketing campaigns for the University including mailings, presentations, events, information tables, and partnership outreach.-Prepared and executed all University related activities including commencement, student and alumni events, staff gatherings, town halls, and social functions.-Reported directly to the University Chancellor.-Managed several coordinators, associates, and interns.
