The most important aspect to a business is business relations, and understanding your customer. In my current role, with GS1 US, I help explain to members the importance of understanding how worldwide identification numbers and barcodes can benefit them throughout their supply chain. Everyday the worldwide supply chain is changing, and we constantly strive to keep up with the competitive marketplace and growth of technology. I've helped implement tools to help members with using our software, and help explain how our software can benefit members. In my former role, with VRI, I learned a lot about both medical dispatching, and also the business side of the company when becoming a customer service representative, and documentation specialist. In my former role, I played a big part in training our new customer care representatives, as well as, implementing new training policies and procedures. I obtained my Central Station Alarm Association Certification. I also oversaw a successful pilot program between our Vitals Monitoring Department and WellCare Health Plans, Inc – including creation of over 40 kit installation guides and training 5 customer care reps on software procedures and sales tactics used in the program. I will be returning to college in the summer of 2019 to pursue finishing my Associate's Degree in Business - Supply Chain Management at Sinclair Community College. Business and team collaboration has played a huge role in my positions with both companies, and learning to work and coordinate with other teams within an organization has became a strong point in my career.
