Responsible for the growth and development of Texas811 by developing and selling new business products/services, increasing the brand’s overall footprint, and supporting the Chief Executive Officer and President to help deliver on the overall company vision. This is accomplished by overseeing three crucial areas of the company: Customized Solutions, Research and Development, and Member Services. -Work closely with all Member Service Managers to ensure that we are delivering on our brand promise and providing an exceptional experience to our customers, while also creating a tracking mechanism to assist us with our market research efforts, and to ensure technological and operational improvements with existing products/services. -Working with the Market Research Manager and Research and Development Manager to conduct extensive market research across our industry and use that data to develop, build, test, and implement new products and services. -Oversee all aspects of Customized Solutions including development of strategic vision, ensuring operational excellence, and onboarding new services, all while focusing on revenue growth and profitability to ensure we have the capital needed to invest in future R&D projects.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

During tenure as Director of Customized Solutions, the department has been responsible for eliminating over $15.5million in unnecessary locating costs for members while simultaneously developing and implementing new services that reduced damages by over 50%. Revenue for Customized Solutions increased by 60%, and profits increased by 826%. In doing so, Customized Solutions became a viable asset for investment back into Texas811 by taking it from an unprofitable, low-revenue operation into a lean, efficient operation that saw continuous revenue growth and the healthiest margins of any service at Texas811. Oversee all aspects of Customized Solutions, including the establishment of long and short-term goals and strategies, staffing, financial health optimization, marketing, sales, and the overall development and growth of the department. Responsibilities include managing Customized Solutions in the most efficient and effective manner for the benefit of Texas811 and its members. This is done through the development of unique and creative solutions on how to expand this aspect of the business while keeping member success at the forefront of all decision making. Customized Solutions is run autonomously from the core business, making it imperative that we create and maintain a healthy financial model so that we can continue to develop new solutions for members. Other responsibilities include developing strategic partnerships, contract review and negotiation, providing the core business with solutions to complex issues, maintaining and developing new partnerships with other states in the industry, and researching various industry issues to pinpoint how to best accommodate our member's needs and provide them with services and solutions they don't even know they need... yet. Our focus is to be The Next Generation of Damage Prevention™.

Liaison between Texas811, South Dakota 811, West Virginia 811, GulfSafe, and their members. Handle new member acquisitions, asset transfers, complaints, and any other issues members might be experiencing. Evaluate the issue a member is experiencing and recommend various solutions to our company, either operationally or technologically. Act as the main point of contact for all members, and see the member request/issue through until its completion. Occasionally travel throughout Texas and other states to attend and speak at various Damage Prevention Councils and events. Main goal is to keep members happy through exceptional service while also working to make the operations of the Contact Center better.

Managed the Quality Assurance Specialists and Coaching Specialists in the Contact Center. Developed new procedures to make the department more efficient and eliminate old practices. Developed new scoring system through cutting edge software that scored tougher, but created clearer results. Created calibration procedures within the department in order to create a scoring system that was more fair, and that also allowed everyone to be on the same page. Developed the position of Contact Center Coach and created the procedures and expectations of that position.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

As a Damage Prevention Agent, I received calls from excavators needing underground lines located. I would take the worksite information and translate that into an easy to read ticket and map the location using and interactive, GIS map. Notified our members (facility operators) of the work taking place so that they can mark their underground lines. As Quality Assurance Specialist I monitored the work of the Damage Prevention Agents to make sure they were in compliance with the procedures of the Contact Center. Made recommendations to supervisors based off of my analysis of their agents.
