As the Assistant Manager my role within the store is to keep all of my employees on task and busy at all times. Another role that I have as the Assistant Manager is to increase sales at the store. To do this I make sales calls to current and new potential customers. I also have the authority to negotiate pricing with contractors to increase sales. Lastly, I keep inventory in check by making sure we always have product in stock that I know that contractors use. I do this by making sure we always received shipments in properly and in a timely manner. Also, this is done by looking at inventory reports and making sure everything matches up with what is actually in the store.

For my role as a research assistant I researched the history of athletics at the University of Wisconsin Green-Bay. I did this by digging through the archives and looking at old photos and articles. The end goal of the internship was to help the university athletics Facebook page be up to date with all of the records and history of the university.
