I am an honest, hard working individual with strong leadership qualities and a strong desire to help others. I am very active in the community, volunteering for various organizations including the Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanities, and the Douglas County Hospital, among others. I also recently conducted a service learning project at Laura MacArthur Elementary School in Duluth, MN, where I taught elementary students the importance of exercising and healthy living. In August 2013, I graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology. The coursework I completed included extensive training in cardiology, exercise rehabilitation, athletic training, motor learning and development, motor control, exercise physiology, psychology, and various other areas of expertise. I am also certified in various health/medical fields, including the following: Emergency Medical Technician, CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, and Personal Care Assistant. I am seeking a position in a hospital/clinical setting where I can utilize the skills and knowledge I obtained through my schooling and healthcare training as a Cardiologist Technician, Rehabilitation Specialist, or other career related to my field of study. With my strong interpersonal skills and knowledge in my field of study, I believe I will be a very beneficial asset to the institution in which I am employed.
