As a researcher, I had the pleasure of working on the massively popular travelling game show, Cash Cab. On Cash Cab I was part of a small team of dedicated trivia lovers who expertly crafted the questions that you may, or may not get. Manufactured, a thirteen part documentary series set to air on Discovery Channel Canada, I researched the stories behind some of the world's coolest, and most interesting products. Everything from the Fender Stratocaster to the Thule cargo box and the Herman Miller Aeron chair.My day to day responsibilities included but were not limited to:- Making initial contact with the potential on-air subjects and negotiating their appearance- Dealing one on one with several high end marketing firms, executive teams and development teams to ensure the end product was of high calibre- Drafting multi-page highly detailed research notes that were used as the blueprints for a particular segment- Helping to draft and manage the production schedule- Becoming an expert on a variety of subjects in a short amount of time- Was responsible for data entry and database management- Taking hours of footage and finessing it down to an entertaining and informative segment

As a production coordinator for Castlewood Productions, I worked on several shows for multiple broadcasters. This included Design DNA, a 13 part documentary series that told the story behind the icons on the design world. Design DNA was shot in North America and Europe and aired on HGTV. I also coordinated the two hour long documentaries: Birth of a Car: Kia Optima and Birth of a Car: i-Miev. Both episodes of Birth of a Car were international efforts, with shoots in California and stretching as far a Tokyo. The Birth of a Car series was seen on Discovery Channel.My day to day responsibilities included but were not limited to: - Booking crew, both domestic and international- Arranging and booking travel, both domestic and international- Database management- Keeping track of production targets- Creating and managing the production schedule- Trouble shooting and problem solving

As senior production assistant for CBC's smash daytime hit Steven and Chris, no two days were exactly the same. Prepping the SmartBoard for another segment of Ask Steven and Chris to making sure the green room was prepped for A-list celebrities were all part of the game. In between seasons, I was part of the fantastic behind the scenes team on Dragon's Den. Helping to make the ratings giant run smoothly day in and day out.

I was the assistant director of So Chic and Design Rivals. Daily activities included taking detailed production notes, managing crew and taking care of talent. I was also the third assistant director for all three seasons of Smart Woman's Survival Guide, a scripted comedy with a talented ensemble cast.
