I am a passionate software engineer. Helping a team take an idea, design, develop, and bring it to fruition, all while delivering the best possible user experience and value is something that genuinely excites me. This passion drives me to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible.While completing my B.S at UTSA I took an internship, which turned into part time employment while finishing my degree. I worked with a team on a SaaS solution for large corporations, gaining experience in front end design, API design, MySQL, and PHP frameworks such as Cake and Laravel.I also took a position with the University I attended, designing and developing a custom solution for the Human Resources Department, a web based Performance Evaluation. I designed the system to securely encrypt and store sensitive information, manage user authentication, allow data sharing between users, and generate finalized PDF versions of a user’s data.For my final semester I developed an advanced task manager as a Progressive Web App for individuals and teams, aimed at improving their ability to visualize progress and bottlenecks, working with Docker, Node.js, React and MySQL.
