I am a High School Counselor at North Pocono High School, hold a masters in school counseling and am a Nationally Certified Counselor. I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Scranton in 2015. Here, I developed my knowledge of developmental processes as well as effective communication. I went on to earn a Master's degree in Experimental Psychology from Villanova University. I completed a thesis on the topic of how romantic partners communicate to their mates how much they value them. After accepting a job at Chestnut Lake Camp in 2019, I found my passion in working with children. This drove me to pursue this path full time and continue my education to become a school counselor. As a professional, I believe in the power relationships. I value the strengths and individuality of every child, and believe it is my job to provide them the tools to succeed in life.
