Worked in this project management role supporting Suncor's Finance function in upgrading various aspects of Finance, including the Treasury and Controllers groups. Was loaned on a five month secondment to Suncor's Crude by Rail Trading group during my time in Finance Projects.

I worked on Suncor's trading floor on the back office team, settling payments to our rail counter parties. Developed a strong base of how to use SAP, as well as CXL. The trading floor was a fast paced environment that required the use of efficient time management, and completing tasks quickly.

Work in the credit risk management department at Suncor Energy, more specifically dealing with the supply and trading team. I reviewed counter parties to grant them a credit limit for our commodity traders to trade with. I helped develop a credit scoring model similar to Moody's and S&P that helped give previously unrated counter parties a credit rating.
