Assist with Graphic Design Projects and seasonal installations for large events.

Primarily responsible as the single point of contact for all County Departmentsand Agencies concerning content and services available on the county websiteand other web-based applications including social media. Duties includeassisting departments in setting up procedures, providing training, and developingfunctionality that compliments and enhances their department’s content in termsof providing information and documents to the public through websites andapplications. Also primarily responsible for managing and developing the county-wide Geographic Information System. These duties also include coordination anddevelopment of the following tasks: GIS data maintenance, server-side systemsand database management, application development (web-based and internal),custom program interface development, field and other research, and high-endcartographic tasks. Responsible for the management and coordination of all GIS data for the Delaware County 911 Communications Center's public safety computer-aided dispatch (CAD) software. This includes managing the regular incorporation of updated of critical datasets such as addresses, buildings, and businesses, as well as the curation of multiple map applications for dispatch consoles as well as mobile applications for first responders.Departmental duties also include administrative tasks including payrolland budgeting. Works directly with other offices and agencies to develop andimplement GIS and other web-based solutions to increase worker and inter-office efficiency, as well asprovide training. Also serves as the Information and Logistics Chief in theDelaware County Emergency Management Agency, with ongoing duties that arerelated to the planning, response, and recovery from community disasters, as well as regular responses to smaller incidents.

The Delaware County Office of Geographic Information manages and distributes the County's Geographic Information System (GIS). A GIS is a computer-based mapping system which relates various types of data and information with real-world locations. Works toward integration of GIS in government offices and agencies to increase worker efficiency and coordination between offices. Develops web-based applications (desktop and mobile) to help provide better access to public records for the public, academic and the private sector.

Serves as the Logistics Section Chief assisting EMA staff with tasks involving incident response, planning, and development of technology-based tools for various Emergency Management activities.

Assists in the general operations of the brewery and taproom as well as developing and brewing new recipes for seasonal or special release events as well as assists with regular production batches. Manages social media accounts and website development. Prepares promotional graphics, logos, and print products. Represents brewery at community events, meetings, and other outside special events.

Integrated GIS into daily work flows including permitting and addressing, replacing outdated paper-based methods.

Performed a comprehensive tree inventory as part of a student team for the Ball State Campus and City of Muncie Street and park trees that was incorporated into GIS databases.
