I started at PHSC with a hope to become an Accountant. After I studied it for two years, I realized I was making a mistake. Working with and on Computers has been a passion of mine since I was a kid, and I realized that this is the career path I was meant to take. Since starting at PHSC, I have had many great opportunities to learn. This was compounded further when I was hired on as a Teacher's Assistant. In this position I research many topics relating to the education industry for the college's QEP Director. This information aided her in creating the college's "Bridge to Success" Quality Enhancement Plan. In this position I also worked as a peer tutor, which gave me invaluable experience in how to successfully teach other students hard to understand topics (such as tax law). While attending PHSC I also had the great opportunity to join the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.I graduated from PHSC right when the COVID-19 pandemic started. It was in this summer that I had my epiphany that IT was the field I should be in. From there, I re-enrolled at PHSC to start my professional education in this new field.Since I was young I have been interacting with computers and electronic systems in many ways including:- Home Server Development- NAS Deployment (Utilizing Samba Shares)- Linux System Hardening- SOHO Network Planning & Deployment
