I received a fellowship to pursue a master's degree in education. This program required a year of classes and student teaching in a high-need school district in New Jersey. By the end of my program I obtained my teacher certifications as well as a master's degree.

I was a teaching assistant for the chemistry department at the University at Buffalo. My responsibilities include teaching recitations and labs for chemistry 101 and 102, holding office hours, and grading.

Greater Philadelphia Area

I worked in the math skills center at my undergraduate institution. I primarily tutored general chemistry and introductory level math courses to college students. Most of the tutoring sessions were either one-on-one or small groups of a couple students but I was often required to tutor many different subjects or material simultaneously.

The EOF program is designed to assist students transition into college the summer before their freshman year begins. The students are required to complete two courses, a reading/writing course and a math course. The students are required to attend modules throughout the day designed to assist them in completing these courses. The EOF tutors are responsible for attending the classes with their group of students, running the modules throughout the day, and must be available for tutoring the students in the evening.
