I have been with Bank of Albuquerque 20 years and have served as New Mexico Market CEO since July 2022. My more than 40-year commercial banking career includes The Bank of New Mexico and First National Bank of Amarillo, Texas. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA in accounting and finance. I also graduated from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking.I am very involved in the Albuquerque community, having served as president/chairman of several boards including the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Central New Mexico, the UNM Lobo Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central New Mexico, the Kiwanis Club of Albuquerque, and the Risk Management Association. Currently, I am on the boards of the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, the New Mexico Bankers Association, and the New Mexico Bowl.My wife Cherrie and I have two grown and married daughters, Shaylee an attorney in Phoenix and Shelby a teacher in Albuquerque.
