Our public affairs efforts is responsible for develop strategic messaging, create and implement targeted communication plans which identify and inform our key stakeholders in industry, Congress, decision-makers, users of our capabilities and of course the public. My team also develops varied communications products, websites, print materials, online communication and newsletters. I lead the effort in cultivating strong relationships with the media. I assist leadership in determining organizational goals and public affairs initiatives. My team also coordinates, manages and executes all General Officer level, including foreign, visits and tours of our facilities. Our organization relies our industry partners. My job is to work with the key vendors to ensure they get access into the information within our organization for them to be successful in their efforts. As the first person contacted by outside organizations I work with them to identify their needs and I connect them with our organizations leaders which can address their questions.
