Credit Collection Specialist
Current• Contacts delinquent deposit account customers in order to collect overdrawn balances• Uses a soft touch approach in collection efforts, fitting with the core values of WTB as a community bank• Prioritizes loss mitigation by making payment plan offers to customers that they can afford to repay, and negotiating settlements when necessary• Reviews credit bureau reports and all other available resources to identify customer assets and debts in order to determine ability repay debts• Uses the small claims process in counties across the Northwest, and works with law firm partners in larger cases, to recover outstanding debts when unable to come to an agreement with the customer• Uses skip tracing techniques to track down evasive customers• Maintains meticulous records of recovery data
