Responsible for the resourcing, planning, and synchronization of a Basic Combat Training company's training of approximately 240 Soldiers every ten weeks. Served as the primary administrator for daily operations to include personnel and supply actions, as well as being responsible for more that 7 million in facilities and equipment. Additional duties included: unit safety officer, environmental compliance officer, and physical security officer.

Served two years as a platoon leader of a reconnaissance platoon in an airborne motorized reconnaissance troop. Served both at Fort Bragg and while deployed forward in western Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom X. Was overall responsible for the unit's training progression and certification prior to deployment, and then served as the officer in charge of 30 personnel and over five million in equipment during a year-long deployment to Afghanistan. While deployed, I planned and conducted daily joint operations with local Afghan security forces to include training, security patrols and operations, intelligence collection, and community projects and contracting.
