Teach students fundamental building science, energy auditing, and weatherization skills including but not limited to; pressure diagnostics, combustion testing & safety, energy modeling software, air/duct sealing, HVAC, duct sealing, and insulation. Create lesson plans and course outlines, choose and develop curricula, mentor other in-house instructors, conduct written and field exams as a proctor.Provide "Super Proctor" services to other organizations and train their trainers, provide consulting services, coordinate field labs with the office manager, maintain and procure equipment and materials.

Conduct energy audits on existing Homes using Blower Door, Duct Blaster, IR camera, CSG's Homecheck program (for Energy Trust of Oregon's "Home Performance with Energy Star" program), test combustion appliances for safety and efficiency, and recommended prescriptive paths towards building efficiency from the "whole house" approach to customers. Drew up scopes of work for airsealing and ductsealing and generally assisted the sales people with their bid's and sales as well as occasionally selling jobs on my own. Conducted airsealing, and oversaw staff training for sealing building envelopes and ducts. Upon work completion, oversaw secondary home tests and in-house quality control, checking the work of the window and insulation crews to ensure compliance with Energy trust, DOE, and Community Action of Washington County specifications.

Oversaw a crew of three, insulating attics, walls and floors with cellulose insulation, via dense packing, and wet spray in existing homes and new construction. Also sealing ducts, airsealing, installing mechanical ventilation and doing envelope tests with blower door equipment. Worked under the constraints of a variety of low income weatherization programs in Western Washington, as well as cash customers. Other responsibilities included, performing duct and fan flow tests for QA on New Energy Star Homes. Also did mold remediation in buildings ranging from private residences to hospitals.
